My route to my current practice began in teaching counselling and social care at undergraduate and postgraduate level at UCE before setting up my own practice in 2000.

As an experienced Therapist/Counsellor I draw from a range of different theoretical perspectives to create unique models of working which are tailored to the individual clients needs.

As a qualified Neuro-linguistic Programming ( NLP) Master Practitioner and Hypnotherapist I believe in working with the whole person, in terms of their physical, mental and spiritual needs. I am able to adapt techniques from these disciplines to create the most dynamic and effective methods of intervention for my clients.

I am skilled in working therapeutically in English, Punjabi and Hindi. I am aware that minority ethnic communities do not relate to counselling as a service. Because of this I wish to make such services accessible to them. I am able to translate and adapt therapeutic tools from traditional counselling to make them applicable to different minority clients.
